Want to know how to throw the BEST #LFW event? Then you need to hit up our #ShopcadeLFW pop up and see how it’s done 😉 Today, after months of planning, we threw our doors open to the public and wow, what a reaction from you, our lovely users!

You came in your droves, posted tonnes of pics on our app, wrote on our wall guest book, and sampled sweet treats from the likes of Lola’s Cupcakes and Exquiste Sugar Tables.

We had a hoot on Day 1 with brands like Gemma Goldstone, High Spirit and Beauty Boulevard in attendance (Thanks for the purple lips FYI, guys!) and tomorrow will be just as awesome, with our LFW closing party, featuring a set from, wait for it… Rough Copy! *squeal!*

In all the excitement, we almost forgot the shows… ALMOST! Don’t worry, we still made time to head to Somerset House and present you with the highlights of Day 2, because A) we are clearly awesome at multitasking and B) We like you. So here you have it, Day 2’s highlights…

SIBLING: Big bows ruled supreme on the #LFW runway yesterday, alongside sequin dresses and fuzzy jumpers in a collection which was fun and retro- hello Desperately Seeking Susan. We loved how youthful and playful the range was; mini skirts and crop tops aplenty, but the prints also had a grown up edge to them as well.

Who made the FROW? Abbey Clancy & Daisy Lowe

House of Holland: If last season was all about ‘debauched debutantes; then this was the season of ‘plaster casters’ as hashtagged by all the celebs in attendance! A homage to the 70s, the collection focused heavily on embroidery and psychedelic prints giving a nod to the hippy era perfectly. The slogans were still there, although less obvious than last season and instead plastered on clutch bags emblazoned with the word ‘TRICKS’. Another triumph, Mr Holland.

Who made the FROW? Where do we begin?! Alexa Chung, Pixie Geldof, Rita Ora & Nicola Roberts for starters!

KTZ: A late night appointment with KTZ and well worth the wait! Beautifully structured pieces flowed down the catwalk in the main colour palette of black, white and gold. Eastern and Mediterranean influences played a big part in the collection; printed cameos and Chinese lantern hats gave the pieces real grown up and accomplished feel compared to previous seasons.

Who made the FROW?: Us! And erm… Paloma Faith, Zandra Rhodes

Stay tuned for more #ShopcadeLFW gossip from tomorrow’s day event and VIP party!

Jessie J’s glittery red hair: Can we just take a moment to appreciate how gorgeous Jessie J looks here please?! Performing last night at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball, JJ looked stunning in her red lacy bodysuit, red tuxedo jacket complete with glittery red hair fashioned into a retro hairstyle. We don’t know about you but we are seriously crushing on this girl’s style right now.

Kian Egan wins I’m a Celebrity: Westlife fans must have been voting in their droves for the past few weeks, as Kian was crowned king of the jungle last night! It wasn’t exactly a shock, given who he was up against, but we totes thought Joey would have gone all the way and his eviction last week made everything go a bit flat. Still, there’s his romance with Amy to keep us entertained, hotting up if his twitter feed is anything to go by! Watch this space…

Final Three of The X Factor Confirmed: Noooo Rough Copy have gone! Who will we swoon over now!? Luke Friend and Nicholas McDonald are a bit young and Sam is a lady, so there is a severe lack of man eye candy in this year’s X Factor final! Still, we reckon it’s going to be cutie Nicholas’ year- he’s the mum’s favourite after all.

We Heart Holographic Fashion: Mirror Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? You are of course! Holographic fashion is hot to trot right now, so check out our list of mirrored goodies for you to rock this festive season.

blog.image-bubble-daily.goss.1-031213-ukFashion Ed’s Pick of the Day: Art deco is uber fashionable right now and these gorgeous Dorothy Perkins chandelier drop earrings are the perfect way to work this trend. Get them quick, they won’t be around for long- they’re under a tenner!

The Goss: Kelly Brook Parties in Style

Kelly Brook Instagram / New Look

Kelly Brook parties in style: The gorgeous Kelly Brook celebrated her 34th Birthday in style this weekend wearing the sparkly jumpsuit from her recent party collection for New Look. Kelly posted a series of pics on her Instagram page over the weekend in the back of a cab and needless to say she looked stunning. Shop the exact same jumpsuit here!

The X Factor’s Hannah Barrett Sent Home: Nicole Scherzinger was not a happy bunny on last night’s results show was she?! ‘Furious’ with the British public for putting Hannah in the bottom two for the third week running, Hannah faced a sing off with Rough Copy and was promptly sent packing. The question is… do we actually care?! The best part of the show has to be One Direction lighting up the stage (it’s OK to fancy them all isn’t it?!) and hear the hot goss that Niall Horan has a crush on Tamera Foster! Stay tuned for how that little romance plays out…

We Heart Cropped Knits: Think cropped knits were a passing phase? Well think again as they are the thing to be seen in this season. Just because temperatures are hitting sub-zero (ok slight over reaction, but brr! It’s getting cold out there!) is no excuse, all you have to do is cleverly layer up. Think cropped knit over a long top or shirt and voila instant trend revival. You’re most welcome.

La Moda launch a clutch for £1: Ok hold everything. A clutch for £1, surely this is some kind of joke?! No? Ok we’re sold! Accessory label La Moda are launching a gorgeous ponyskin (hottest texture of the season no less) leopard print clutch bag in an array of colours for just £1. Available from tomorrow, we’d start hitting the refresh button nice and early on Lamodauk.com if we were you!

And Finally…

blog.image-laura.bubble-251113-ukFashion Ed’s pick of the day: Today I’ve come over all Christmassy with these ADORABLE reindeer gloves from ASOS. A steal at only £10, these will see you through the festive period in style and keep your mitts warm. Who said functional couldn’t be fashionable?!
