If you’re going to be in the FROW at London Fashion Week then you need to look amazing at all times. What are we saying, you need to look amazing at all times anyway! But with the camera on you, rocking the best of the latest looks becomes even more important.

Here’s what we reckon you should be rocking if you’re going to be on the FROW (next to Anna and co. natch) this season…

Go Designer

While there are many looks you can adapt for the FROW, the designer dress look is probably the safest bet. The trouble is, what type of designer dress are you going to choose?

You can pretty much pick what you like as long as you go for something that fits the occasion, meaning something that looks smart but is part of a dressed down look – you shouldn’t look like you’re going to a cocktail party! Your budget needs to come into consideration, too.

Lists We Love: Electric Embellishment

nataliecornerTrendsetter and Shopcade Curator, @NatalieCorner gives us an insight into her Electric Embellishment list and how she plans to work the look this season.

Over to you, Nat…

What I love about this trend is there are no rules. When it comes to embellishment; you can go big and glitzy or small and delicate.

Gone are the days when you reserved your best sequin top to go with your best skirt for your big night out. Nope, these days a sprinkle of those sequin charms goes fantastically with a soft knit to bring the tone down for work, or that perfect blazer to smarten you up but to keep you from bedazzling clients too much.

Add a smattering of beads for your day-to-day wardrobe, and that extra sparkle on your clothes will make you feel a million dollars inside. Ramp up the jewels on your big night and glisten like a Hollywood star on the red carpet, it’s all about how the glitz and glamour makes you feel.

When it came to making my Electric Embellishment list for Shopcade, I was inspired not just by the Christmas party season fast approaching but also the different ways in which I could inject a little glitter in to my normal wardrobe.

Embellishment 1

I’m not necessarily someone who likes to pile on the sequins head to toe but by pairing one embellished piece like this Cross Front Embellished Bralet from Topshop, with a different texture like these Velvet Suit Trousers from Mango and topping it off with these amazing Gold Leather High Heels from Office, would make me feel electric at a party!

Or for something a little more understated? These ASOS Slippers with a bejewelled heel would work perfectly with this cute Grey Jewel Flower Crop top from New Look a touch of structure with a Contrast Lapel Blazer from ASOS and a pair of jeans from my Denim Delight list.

The best thing about creating Shopcade lists, is that once you have all your lists you can mix and match trends to create a brand new one, or just become more individual and unique when you’re putting a look together.

And of course you have a record of everything you’ve ever wanted and you can keep coming back and adding more, there’s no limit – well maybe only my bank balance… 😉

Option 1: Be a bit of a rebel
Show them you’re not a work-slave afterhours, instead, you’re in control. Go black, but wear something slightly bad. Like a curve-hugging little black dress or a bad boy biker jacket…

Option 2: Get some attention
Okay, there will surely be enough office-friendly monochrome outfits, so bring on some vibrant colours, and ladies, some heels. Colors demand attention, and, unlike during work hours, that’s a good thing in a party.

Option 3: Stay clean
So you messed up your presentation. Or your colleagues think you’re a slacker. Either way, maybe your office needs to take you a little bit more seriously. Probably a Tshirt with an ironic tagline won’t cut it:
