We took to the streets once again to shout about Shopcade over the Easter Break, landing in Manchester at the start of MCRFW to check out the most stylish fashionistas out and about!
After a busy few days scouring the streets, we also hit the catwalk shows in the evening to see emerging talent and we were not disappointed. One thing’s for sure- Manchester has style!
Here’s our pick of the ones to watch…
Lunar Rising: We officially have a new designer crush! Graphic designer come photographer, Abi showcased a fab collection on the evening full off tribal prints, gothic sheer and cobweb ‘moth-like’ pieces, all of which we want to buy, like now!
Sophie Ho: Sophie’s signature of strong structures and silhouettes proved a popular show to watch. She takes inspiration from architecture and experiments with using plastic in her collections, using it to take on different forms.
Lucy Cowan: Watching Lucy’s collection was like going back in time! She used very intricate designs, taking inspiration from childhood images and iconography to make truly memorable collection.
Keep posted for more opportunities to be featured on Shopcade and don’t forget the May Style Battle will be launching very soon! For a recap of our April antics, check out our post on the Style Battle Party here.
