The countdown is officially on! And no, we don’t just mean to our AMAZING #shopcadelfw pop-up event and party, we mean to actual London Fashion Week!

New York Fashion Week is drawing to a close after an amazing few days of shows, with stand outs from Alexander Wang, Tommy Hilfiger (hello Kendall Jenner!) and J. Crew.

We’ve followed it closely, from all the top shows to the hottest street styles hitting the tent; we even caught Rihanna heading into Alexander Wang on Saturday!

So as the spotlight shifts to London, here’s our pick of the shows we just can’t wait to see this season!

1. House of Holland

Who? The King of Slogans

Why? The celeb packed FROW for one reason! Expect to see the Primrose Hill set out in full force, plus the two Lily’s (Allen and Collins) have been papped in rarely anything else for the past few months, so they are pretty much a shoo in for this season. Henry Holland’s AW14 collection was my favourite to date; an amazing collection of vibrant jewel colours, bold solgans and plenty of sequins to liven up the dull winter. Can he top this for SS15? Oh I’m sure he’ll give it his best!

Where? Saturday 13th September, 6.30pm

2. Topshop Unique

Who? Er, the most popular high street chain has a high end line… AS IF you didn’t know!

Why? Well if the ‘who’ section of this little preview doesn’t convince you, then last season’s wondrous oversized furs, stunning tailoring and downright gorgeous sixties mini dresses sure will! Topshop pretty much have the teen to early twenties market sewn up and this is just another string to their ever expanding bow. Always a celeb magnet, the FROW is bound to be bursting and we have a sneaky feeling a certain Kendall Jenner may well be walking this season too. Watch this space.

Where? Sunday 14th September, 3pm

Isabel Marant for H&M: We have literally waited all our fashion lives for this moment. Isabel Marant for H&M launches in the UK this week, yes you heard us, THIS WEEK! In possibly the most highly anticipated high street/designer collaboration ever, the fashion pack have been counting down the days since it was announced earlier this year. Shopcade will be decamping from our HQ home in Notting Hill and queuing at dawn to cover the fashion event of the year, so stay tuned for our live updates straight from the heart of the action!

Adele turns down L’Oreal deal: So apparently the lovely Adele was offered a deal with L’Oreal which would have seen her replace the equally lovely Cheryl Cole but- and here’s the kicker- she turned it down! The move has left the beauty giant reportedly ‘gobsmacked’ at her turning down such a huge amount (we’re talking £12m here!) according to People magazine, who quoted the source. We’re pretty gutted it didn’t work out, Adele is a stunner!

Tamera Foster looks hot in sequinned jumpsuit: Told you Tamera was the one to watch in the fashion stakes! Gal looked gorgeous in a sequinned French Connection jumpsuit for Saturday’s live show. Available from ASOS for £180 it’s an investment piece make no mistake, but come on, when you can’t treat yourself at crimbo, when can you , eh?!

And finally…

All Worship… ‘The Bear and the Hare’: They’ve only gone and done it again those clever folks at John Lewis. Having run out of cute kids and snowmen, they’ve turned to animation for this year’s Christmas offering and come up with the soon-to-be-classic bear and hare tale. You know, the one where they bear and hare are best buds in the forest and because the bear hibernates each year he misses Christmas (we know, heart breaking right?!). So clever hare buys him an alarm clock (John Lewis of course) so he can wake up and enjoy the festive season. (Hurray!) All this action set to the backing vocals of Lily Allen and her comeback cover of Keane’s Somewhere Only We Know. You may sense sarcasm, but we totes weeped… honest.
