Presenting The Shopcade 2014 Competition Winners!



Earlier this year, we launched three competitions for our loyal following of @Shopcade members to win several amazing prizes for themselves and even for their BFFs! Giving them a shout-out here, we hope they’ve enjoyed the fruits of their labour and we can’t wait to organise even more competitions so more of you can join in the fun!

First up, there’s @jelly-babyvalentino who scooped the prize for our #JDSports competition with her winning #kingoftrainers pic. Brightly lit and well-framed, this well-accessorised girl knew how to catch our eye with her poised yet focused look. Taking home a brand new pair of kicks from JD Sports, we’re in no doubt @jelly-babyvalentino’s slick taste in styling will make her the coolest girl on the block! 

Next, our Bank Fashion wishlist winner @serenasboard put together the winning #BankFashion @Shopcade list which you can check out here. Having styled a combo of slogan and graphic print tees, an on-trend biker and varsity jacket, some converse hi-tops and even menswear pieces she’d like to mix and match, @serenasboard certainly knows how to put the £100 prize to use! With her ‘Wants’ list on Shopcade bursting with the latest grunge and rocker chick looks, we can’t wait to see what other lists she’ll put together.

Last but not least, the lucky winner of our @Shopcade and #F&F competition #FlipTheGrade is none other than @chloebrookes-h. Submitting a #selfie of herself with her BFF in a fabulous prom pose, her winning look gained 169 likes from friends and fellow Shopcaders. Pictured in a stunning sparkling floor-length ball gown with a white clutch purse, @chloebrookes-h is certainly pretty for prom. As her reward, she bagged a day out with her BFF’s as well as £150 from F&F. Not bad, huh?!

Shopcade Stylist For A Day: Carolyn Malachi Debuts “All Right”


The look was picked, the video was shot, and here it is!

After receiving hundreds of submissions Carolyn and her team selected the look put together on Shopcade by Sam Thomas for her new music video for “All Right.”


Her stylists used that selected look as inspiration for their styling in the video. They used elements from Sam’s Caché dress pick including the strong black one-shoulder, fitted torso, and prominent purple print for their dress selection from Linda Asaf. Carolyn also sported a woven Ettika bracelet like the one chosen by Sam. The look was both strong and soft, exactly what Carolyn and her team were looking for!

But wait — there’s more! You will have another chance to style Carolyn on Shopcade starting Monday, July 15 for an upcoming appearance on the morning television show “The Daily Buzz.” In that mission you will choose an outfit, with some suggested brands and styles from Carolyn, and create a complete look for her to wear. The winner will not only see their look on Carolyn but win it for themselves!

“Stylist For A Day” with Shopcade and Carolyn Malachi



If you ever dreamed about styling a Grammy nominated artist for a music video now is your chance!

Shopcade has partnered with the fabulous and talented Carolyn Malachi to give you the chance to style her for her new music video, “All Right” which will be the first single off her new album Gold. 

From July 1 through 8 users will have the opportunity to choose from a pre-selected list of looks to create the perfect outfit for Carolyn to wear in her video. One lucky (and talented) stylist will win the outfit they chose and their look will serve as the inspiration for Carolyn’s styling.

Listen to “All Right” below and think about how you would work with Carolyn’s personal style in the video for the single.



To get the full styling experience make a video telling Carolyn why you chose your style (and how good it will make her look!) and add it to the comments to the dress you select or tweet it to us @Shopcade!

You will also have a chance to style Carolyn for more events later this summer including an appearance on “The Daily Buzz” and for a live performance!

Here’s How:

  • Unlock the mission by tweeting and creating the list.
  • You will see that the list is already full of dresses and jewelry. Your task is to whittle those choices down to your favorite pieces for Carolyn.

‘Autumn Winter Picks’ list Mission Terms and Conditions

From Thursday 13th to Friday 28th September, Shopcade will celebrate Autumn Winter fashion trends with a contest named ‘Autumn Winter Picks’ list. On Thursday 13th September, Shopcade will post a Shopcade ‘Autumn Winter Picks’ list image on Facebook and a ‘Shopcade Autumn Winter Picks’ list Mission will go live on Shopcade’s Missions Dashboard. To enter the Competition, users need to create a product list ‘Autumn Winter Picks’ list on the Shopcade ‘Autumn Winter Picks List’ Mission. The goal of this mission is to create the best product list on Shopcade of fashion, beauty and accessories which represent the top Autumn Winter 2012 trends as referenced on Shopcade’s Facebook page throughout the campaign. 

The Competition will commence Thursday 13th September at 7.00pm BST (3.00pm EST) and last until Thursday 28th September at 2.00pm BST (10.00am EST). There will be one winner, chosen according to the selection of items added to their list ‘Autumn Winter Picks’ list created via the Shopcade Mission up until the competition end date of 2.00pm BST (10.00am EST) on Thursday 28th September. In order for an entry to be considered there must be a minimum of 20 items added to the user’s ‘Autumn Winter Picks’ list. The winner will be selected at the discretion of Shopcade with the assistance of two chosen guest judges.

The winner will receive one Mango leather biker jacket valued at £114.99 or the USD equivalent, one Reiss Naveen printed Maxi Skirt stone valued at £97.00 or the USD equivalent and a Fashion Union Cream Studded Collar Blouse valued at £20.00 or the USD equivalent. In the event, the prizes are out of stock or not available in the winner’s size, winners will be awarded as gift vouchers from the prize retail brands in either $USD or £GBP equivalent. If the winner is not located in the U.S or U.K, gift vouchers to the equivalent £GBP will be posted to the winners international address.



The odds of winning the competition will be dependent on the quality and selection of products in the user’s Shopcade list named ‘Autumn Winter Picks’ list when aligned to the Trends of Autumn Winter 2012 as promoted on Shopcade’s Facebook page throughout this campaign. In order for an entry to be considered there must be a minimum of 20 items added to the user’s ‘Autumn Winter Picks’ list.  Entry is free. No purchase is necessary.
