Ahead of the SS15 London Collections: Men that kicks off on Sunday, we chose our Top five menswear designers who showcased their collections in January and are back again this season to show us their new line. Even though it’s only two years old, LC:M has worked hard to secure it’s name as THE event to showcase the finest menswear designers and trends in Europe. As a staple of the menswear calendar, with up-and-coming designers to Savile Row tailors, London Collections: Men is a celebration of the start of the season.

Joseph Turvey

Young British designer Joseph Turvey is back for LC:M once again, after previously being supported by Fashion East. Only two years ago Joseph graduated from university and his experimentation with hand drawn illustrations within his design have had everybody talking about him. He mixes his intricate illustrations with his sports luxe style to create some beautiful pieces. His innovative techniques and striking designs secured him a River Island capsule collection, showcasing his illustrations in a camouflage print collection.

Oliver Spencer

Established British designer Oliver Spencer embraces luxury artisan clothing with the modern man in mind. Through his brand Oli showcases his expression of his taste, his touch and style. For Oliver, his eclectic choice of models plays a huge part in the show, with Jimmy Q, Wretch 32 and Rick Edwards all on the list of people who have walked in his shows to date. We can’t see what he has to offer for SS15 and of course who is sitting FROW (David Gandy, most certainly!) and who is walking for him this season!

Agi & Sam

Design duo Agi & Sam met after studying separately whilst working at Alexander McQueen. Agi bringing his expertise in fashion design and Sam his talent in illustration, they were just meant to find each other. With a strong emphasis on bespoke prints and tailoring with that added humour, Agi & Sam believe fashion should never be taken too seriously. Did we mention that they had an amazing collab with Topman? Another great case of the catwalk and high street coming together on a fantastic collection.

Katie Eary

After the impact her last two collections have had with psychedelic leopard prints, neon patterns and flamingo inspiration, Katie Eary is well established as an innovative designer that wow’s us each time she showcases her designs. Since last season, Katie’s brand handwriting and established designer status lead on to a hugely successful collection with River Island. For this Katie changed things up and showed us her ability to transfer over to womenswear that flatters and excites the female customer. We cannot wait to see what she has to offer for her SS15 collection!

Astrid Andersen

Astrid Andersen is certainly one to watch out for at LC:M this Season. At the forefront of sports luxe, Astrid has been busy taking her street inspiration directly onto the catwalk. Her designs have recently been spotted on the lady of the moment, Rihanna! The designs bridge the gap perfectly between men and womenswear, giving a unisex feel to a lot of the designs. For the guys out there that are still looking for an outfit to wear, why not take a look at Astrid’s collection that launched today with Topman.
